You & Structured Water

Nina Heaton

Updated: Mar 16, 2023

Do you know what structured water is, and why it’s SO good for you? In this blog I’ll be sharing my experience of what this gift from nature is, and how to simply make your own structured water. You can buy structures water portable units which is the most convenient option, but if that not is not available to you or if you just enjoy being creative, you can make you own version very easily.

Gift From Nature

I’d always used filtered water as it tasted so much better than tap water, when I read up about what is in our water nowadays it seemed the obvious choice. But then I heard about structured water, what a game changer that was!! Structured water is a term used for describing water which is in its natural form/state. By that I mean as if the water had been tumbling down a river over rocks and stones. This movement over the rocks and stones creates a type of spin, spiral or vortex, so to speak. This ‘spin’ creates light/photons, so it literally makes the water ‘alive with light’ is the way I would describe it.

Lifeless Water

The water from our taps (even though I’m grateful to have water delivered to our home in this way), runs along pipes in straight lines, this isn’t natural for water. It is simply lifeless when we pour it into our glass, there is no light evident. Tap water under a microscope will be in large clump formations of the molecules. Whereas structured water is in its natural form, is in smaller formations or even individual molecules. The body finds it easier to absorb water in small formations as one cell can only absorb one molecule of water.

Nutrition

Revealing The Beauty Within

Why is this such a big deal? Well I know you know the human body is mostly made up of water, more than 70%, so giving the body what it needs in the most natural form is the best option. But do remember the nutrition from the food you eat needs to be carried into the cells of the body, that’s why the structure of the water is vital. If the body can’t easily absorb what you are drinking then nutrients won’t be absorbed very well. Makes sense when put like that doesn’t it? I hadn’t really thought about any of this before 3 years ago!

First Hand Experience

I was quite sceptical about all of this until I tasted some structured water. When I sipped some structured water it felt ‘silky’. How can water have a texture?? I quite agree!! How can it?? But it does. I tasted normal tap water, then the structured water, it’s completely different in the way it feels. Structured water feels calm, smooth and tap water feels a bit chaotic, harsh and disharmonious. Again, a strange way to describe the difference but there it is, that was my experience, so I bought a portable water unit from Natural Action Technologies (quite an investment but worth it I feel). This simple design mimics the spin that water would experience in nature.

Hydration

I remember using the structure water on our indoor plants, over a period of about 2 months they had all grown SO much! I had to re-pot many of them. I noticed my skin felt more hydrated and my nails were stronger within about 3 months. I couldn’t quite believe it, at the time I felt I needed less water because all the water I was drinking was actually being absorbed properly! Also when soaking dried beans or chickpeas, I noticed they swell up so much more quickly because the water can be absorbed more easily. Sprouting seeds or beans take less time to sprout into action too!

Creativity

You can make a version at home quite easily, all you need is:

  • 2 large jugs

  • 2-3 bags of glass marbles

  • White vinegar to clean the marbles

  • 1 bowl to put the marbles in

  • 1 Large funnel

  • Water

  • 1 drinking straw

Steps

  1. Put marbles in the bowl and cover with water, then a good splash of white vinegar, slush it around a bit with your hands so you get all the dust and dirt off the marbles. Let them soak for 20 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly a few times in fresh tap water, drain and set aside.

  2. Have your large jug with the funnel resting on the rim (so it’s secure without you needing to hold it) and fill the funnel with the clean marbles.

  3. Once the jug is full remove the funnel and place it in the second jug, pour the water through the marbles 3-4 times, it becomes more and more structured each time.a similar shape to rocks and stones in nature, creating the ‘spin’.

  4. Once the jug is full remove the funnel and place it in the second jug, pour the water through the marbles 3-4 times,it becomes more and more structured each time.

  5. If the marbles are quite small you may need a drinking straw to put in the funnel so the marbles don’t block up the hole and stop the flow of water moving through.

Summary

This is DIY version of structuring your water at home is quick and easy to create and has so many benefits. When the body is happily hydrated, it's much easier to sort out emotional issues as water helps to flush away the stagnant emotions and toxins.
